Code for BTV

Code of Conduct

All Code for BTV events and their volunteers, presenters, and attendees are held to a Code of Conduct and an Anti-Harassment Policy.

This includes the Code for BTV leadership. If you see something or hear something that violates the Code of Conduct, please report it, for everyone’s sake.

We want you to feel comfortable reporting any concerns you have relating to our Code of Conduct, Anti-Harassment Policy, and any type of unpleasant experience you have within the Brigade. If you have concerns, there are several ways to reach out:

For general concerns: Please report any concerning interactions with non-leadership-team members to any Code for BTV leadership member verbally so it can be addressed as quickly as possible. If verbal communication is not viable, please contact any leadership member by email:

For concerns within leadership: If you have a negative experience with the Code for BTV leadership team, we would like to know about it. All feedback will be received with openness and fairness, and also taken seriously and at face value. As with any concern, please feel free to reach out to any or all leadership members directly or by e-mail. If you feel uncomfortable reporting to the leadership for any reason, please raise your concern with the Alliance of Civic Technology (ACT)

For a non-male contact: If you would prefer to contact a non-male supporter, please reach out to:
